Savigliano is able to offer special electric machines according to the customer's specific requirements when these cannot be met by the normal standard production offered by the market.

Service Activity

For years Savigliano has been putting at the disposal of the market its technical capability in troubleshooting - repair - enhancement activities of electric machines. The replacement of obsolete electrical, magnetic, mechanical components restores the machine's reliability and efficiency. The renewal interventions imply a complete electrical and mechanical redesigning of the machine's components. Modern calculation technologies, together with the utilisation of more advanced insulating materials, allow to optimise the sizing of the machinery.

In this way it is possible to renew completely the active parts of the machine, characterised by reliability and performance levels equal or higher than the newly-built ones.

The activity is carried out on all kinds of electric rotary machines of average and high power, both direct and alternate, and covers the following activity areas:

• Specialised checks on site and troubleshooting activity (checking the insulation levels, checking the balancing, checking the NDT, etc.)
• Immediate technical assistance on site in case of failure of the electric machinery
• Supply and/or replacement of components forming the machine: windings, magnetic packs, bearings, mechanical parts, manifolds
• General overhauling interventions and scheduled maintenance of the electric machines
• Overhauling of the auxiliary plants like:
  lubrication systems for sliding bearings, braking and lifting systems (for vertical groups), cooling systems (water, hydrogen)
